Google Summer of Code Thus Far

Google Summer of Code has been a great experience so far! I have learned a lot and I have loved programming for Drupal! I thought I'd post a bit about my project.

My project, Embed Widgets, will allow sites using Drupal to take pieces of their site and convert them to widgets. This will essentially let them distribute miniature, but still interactive, versions of their site across the web in many formats. As part of SoC, I will be creating modules that will allow widgets to be embedded as IFrames and as Google Gadgets.

So far, I have made great progress on the API, user interface, and IFrame modules. Still lots of work left to do. Check out the links below to find out more about my project:
